Technical Challenges
Alstern was nominated as the ACMV contractor to provide the ACMV full package installation to the Office Tenancy.
There were 248nos of Air vents and diffuser installed. Commissioning the ACMV air flow was to ensure each zone achieved the required airflow as designed to prevent thermal discomfort to the users. Inefficiency system may lead to increased electricity costs and reduced life span of the ACMV system.
Technical Solutions
Commissioning specialists adopted the used of calibrated Air-Flow Measurement tool to provide a good accuracy and digital reporting of the airflow. The collections of data and digital memory helped to record, validate and cross-reference even after the process was completed.
A consistent & professional approach with data collection and reporting helped to successfully complete the project and gain client’s satisfaction.
Airflow was measured with the flow hood and the ducts or grill plates of the diffusers were adjusted repeatedly to achieve the desired airflow. Our commissioning specialists team ensured precise balancing was completed for all the 248nos of vents and diffusers.
