Pipe Freezing

Pipe Freeze is a method to freeze the content or medium of a section of a pipe by applying a cryogenic freezing agent that temporarily stops the pipe flow to carry out alterations in the pipeline at the downstream area.

PERFORMANCES

Pipe freezing procedure involves pre-cooling the pipe using cryogenic freezing agent to achieve and maintain below freezing temperatures. Once the targeted area is frozen, termination or modification can be carried out without having to drain the entire pipe content or medium.

ADVANTAGES

This convenient technique has been used on pipelines in various industries, buildings, process plants, and pipelines containing water-based mediums that reduces the operation shut down time.
