Line Stop

Line stop is a method used either with a mechanical plug or inflatable plug that temporarily stops the pipe flow in a section of the pipe, to allow for alteration and addition works to be carried out at the pipeline, without stopping or purging the system.

Customise line stop plug is inserted to provide temporary isolation in the pipeline.

Mechanical line stop

  • Medium flows at high pressure and high temperature, and in larger pipe sizes.
  • The mechanical plug head uses a high-tensile metal plug with an EPDM rubber stopper

Inflatable Line Stop

  • This technique utilises inflatable materials that are designed with double protection of nylon-reinforced materials.
  • Benefits from ballistic external materials, which shield it from the adverse

Foldable Line Stop

  • Ideal for scenarios with restricted space
  • Designed for versatility and minimal weight
ADVANTAGES

This convenient and efficient solution for high-temperature and high-pressure systems can be carried out with minimum disruption to operations.
