The first graphic data logger

 

The newest WACO data logger from GUTERMANN INTERNATIONAL offers, for the first time, all the functions and possibilities which professional users have been looking for.

WACO 5000 — Universal Data Logger

All stored information can be retrieved on the WACO display directly on site. The individualized direct programming allows almost any desired measurement.

Very often graphical patterns will quickly indicate the existence and the nature of a problem. Data can therefore be retrieved not only in the form of numeric tables, but also in a graphical format, to display the curves and patterns present.

The user-friendly on-screen menu guidance and comprehensive help program allow an unproblematic operation of the WACO.

Easy-to-operate

The logger measures and stores flow, pressures and other data; i.e. level, temperature, pH etc. The logging intervals are freely programmable and all the measured values are stored in the large WACO memory. Moreover, the WACO always also processes automatically statistical computation: Daily totals, hourly totals, minima, maxima etc. And, of course, current values can also be measured and displayed at any moment.

Flow, pressure and other measurements

Like all the earlier WACO models, the WACO 5000 also offers the popular and proven leak analysis, automatically indicating the presence of a leak and computing its volume in m3/h.

WACO 5000 is the only data logger offering a special program for step testing - based either on flow or pressure measurements. This method is used more and more for preliminary leak location.

A further novelty is the built-in special program for testing the impermeability of new pipes and sewers, either by means of water or air. The measurement protocols show the graphic curve of the drop of pressure as well as exceeding preset levels.

Yet another world premiere: The WACO 5000 also features leak noise logging, which is directly processed in the logger without the need to transfer the data to a PC. The results are immediately displayed as numeric tables and curves. In this manner a possible leak can be immediately located without unnecessary repeated site visits.

The WACO 5000 can accommodate 4 different meters simultaneously. Each measuring input can be individually programmed as a pulse or analogue entry. The programming allows separate memorization or balancing of different entries (including combination or bi-directional meters).

Each entry can also simultaneously emit signals. Therefore four different tasks can be programmed, in case the measuring values exceed or do not reach preset levels, i.e. alert messages open or close valves, or activate another external process.
