SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Laser alignment is used in the aligning of rotating machinery to the required tolerance . Laser alignment system has higher resolution than conventional dial indicators and therefore provide a more accurate alignment result.

ALIGNMENT PROBLEMS

Misalignment of rotating machines is the major cause of all breakdowns. Studies have shown that less than 10% of the randomly chosen machines are aligned to within acceptable limits. The cost of misalignment:

· Increased power consumption

· (10 units of 7.5kW machines with 0.1mm misalignment will increase your annual power consumption by more than S$45,000.00!)

· Increased vibration causing machinery damage

· Increased bearing wear and damage

· Increased wearing of seal elements
