SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Corrosion detection is used for detecting coating faults on pipeline used for cathodic protection. It is usually difficult and costly to determine the location and severity of corrosion occurring in underground pipes. We use state-of-the-art direct current voltage gradient equipment to locate coating faults and determine the severity of corrosion. Thereafter, a corrosion report will be submit to the customer for corrective actions.

PROBLEMS FACED WITH CORROSION

1. Corrosion can be lethal when it goes undetected

2. Corrosion usually progress to leaks which are expensive and harmful to environment

3. Preventive measures for detecting corrosion are expensive or unreliable.
