AQUASCAN 700 — Leak Locating Correlator |
The AQUASCAN 700 is the first portable correlator with a colour touch screen allowing easy handling and field data input. |
Colour torch screen |
The AQAUSCAN 700 is capable of presenting simultaneous correlation of up to 12 different frequency bands. |
Simultaneous multiple correlation |
‘Each individual frequency band can be included or excluded by a simple touch of the screen. Gutermann's range of high-end AQUASCAN models are the only correlators offering multi frequency suppression, the most sophisticated in-depth frequency analysis ever realized in a high performance correlator, providing results where other correlators fail. |

A large 10" colour display offers simple visual interpretation of complex measurement analysis. |

Simple visual inspection |
The detailed leak noise analysis displays the presentation of the FFT of each sensor as well as the coherence showing the noise frequencies, which are common to both sensors. This enables the user to fine-tune the filter settings and to eliminate disturbing ambient noises. |

Accidental or permanent consumption on the pipe section under investigation is a frequent problem for conventional correlators, often rendering leak detection impossible. The AQUASCAN 700 enables the suppression of any pipe subsection or correlation peak caused by disturbing non-leaks sources, such as water consumption. |
Peak suppression eliminates interfering noise sources |

AQUASCAN 700 — Technical Specifications |
The AQUASCAN 700 is capable of calculating the real sound velocity of a pipe section where the material and diameter is unknown. |
Automatic calculation of sound velocity |
The large memory stores up to 140 measurements including all FFT and coherence data, permitting subsequent off-site re-correlation of the measurements with the new or changed parameters. |

This option offers the unique new function of using the correlator as a listening system together with the Gutermann AQUASCOPE Hand-Probe (for spot sounding on pipes & fittings) or Ground Microphone (for surface verification). All the related functions are clearly displayed on the AQ610 screen, including signal strength, minimum noise level, frequency analysis, filtering and memory. |
AQUASCAN 610 also converts into a Ground Microphone and Listening Stick |
A comprehensive report of the leak detection can be printed out on site, including a drawing of the site-plan with just a few simple touches on the screen. |

The measuring resolution of 16,000 points allows a very accurate pinpointing (locating precision better than 1 cm per 100 m, or 1" per 1,000 ft).Improved performance on uPVC and MDPE. PVC and MDPE pipes have long been a problem for conventional correlators. The AQUASCAN 700 offers enhanced capabilities for more difficult low noise and low frequency leaks |
