AQUASCAN 610 — ‘Streetworks Act’ Friendly Correlator

The AQUASCAN-610 correlator is the latest edition to the successful AQUASCAN correlator range from Gutermann. Weighing only 1.2 kg, it is the smallest LNC fitting into the pocket of any leak detection operator. A single multi-task connector serves for battery charging, for using Hydrophones, for attaching a sensor in the single channel version, or for using the ground microphone AQUASCOPE.

Ultra compact ‘flyweight’ correlator

The AQUASCAN-610 offers Bluetooth communication, enabling the user to connect to a laptop, or to use a wireless Bluetooth headset!

Built-in Bluetooth communication

‘Professional' and ‘Wizard Assisted' data entry option can be selected upon start-up or at any time during operation and offers different levels of sophistication depending upon the level of correlation experience of the user.

Fully automatic ‘wizard assisted’ operations

AQUASCAN 610

Equally compact transmitters with integrated accelerometers (no more cables!) allows working with closed hydrant and valve covers.

‘Streetworks Act’ friendly radio/ sensors

The AQUASCAN-610 features fully automatic or user-selectable filter and parameter settings. FFT, coherence and signal analysis are displayed throughout operation, plus a continuous, real-time correlation quality indication. In addition, special attention has been given to a very sophisticated analysis of the leak noise, enabling adjustment of the filter settings to specific measurement requirements. By pressing the ‘Filter' key, a full, on-screen frequency analysis commences, displaying the optimum filter settings and measurement quality.

ASA—an innovation in noise spectrum analysis

The high measuring resolution of 16,000 points allows a very accurate pinpointing (locating precision better than 1 cm per 100 m or 1” per 1,000 ft). The AQUASCAN-610 is designed to perform well on all pipe materials and to locate difficult leaks including on uPVC and MDPE.

High performance and locating precision, also on uPVC and MDPE

AQUASCAN 610 — Technical Specifications

The AQUASCAN-610 is equipped with a large, high resolution LCD display (120 x 90 mm, 4.7” x 3.5”) with progressively increasing visibility in bright sun-shine. A ‘one-hit' backlight switch is also featured for dark or poor ambient light.

AQUASCAN 610 Screen Capture

Greater memory management is available for 60 measurements, including all the FFT information for off-site, post re-correlation with altered parameters. Data can be transferred to the Windows based PC software (included) for viewing, data storage, additional data entry and report printing. The software also includes a user-friendly function for e-mail of data. An optional MMC offers greater memory capacity for storage and playback of the actual sound signals (leak noise listening).

Large memory plus optional MMC (Multi Media Card)

This option offers the unique new function of using the correlator as a listening system together with the Gutermann AQUASCOPE Hand-Probe (for spot sounding on pipes & fittings) or Ground Microphone (for surface verification). All the related functions are clearly displayed on the AQ610 screen, including signal strength, minimum noise level, frequency analysis, filtering and memory.

AQUASCAN 610 also converts into a Ground Microphone and Listening Stick

The AQUASCAN 610 is available both as a single channel or a dual channel correlator. The single channel version has been made available for those working with a tighter budget, but not wishing to compromise on performance.

Correlator State' lists all the technical details for assistance/diagnosis by phone or e-mail in the event of a problem.

Software updates and upgrades enable the user to stay up-to-date with the latest firmware; FREE OF CHARGE for the life of the product. Another benefit of Gutermann's commitment to Customer Service Excellence.
