AVV-701 — Cost Effective Way to Reliability

Horizontal Machines -   For the alignment of horizontal machines train by any position of 9–12–3, 6-9-12 or less 120º rotation method.

 

Vertical Machines -        For the alignment of vertical and flange-mounted machines by any position of 9–12–3, 6-9-12 or less 120º rotation method.

 

Soft Foot -                     To check that the machine is standing on all feets and remove “soft-foot” if it occurs.

 

Thermal Growth -          Input of cold coupling target for thermal alignment compensation, considering difference in thermal growth between machines.

 

Shim Simulation -          Shims simulation function allows the possibility of using simulated shims in case they differ from the calculation results.

AVV-701 — Technical Specifications

The AVV-701 has built-in program used for the alignment of vertical and flanged-mounted machines. The results display offset, angular error and shim correction value at each bolts.

Falcon Eye -                  Quick and easy rough alignment procedure in the presence of a large initial misalignment. If laser beam travels out of the detector while turning machine shaft, there is no need to adjust laser beam while taking measurement to ensure smooth measurement.

Horizontal Alignment

The measurement procedure consists of few simple steps:

(1) Input the basic dimensions

(2) Turn shafts to any three positions in any direction or less than 120º angle

(3) Result shows clearly adjustments that are needed to correct misalignment

This function simulates the use of shims in case they differ from the results of the calculations.

Shim Simulator

This feature allows consider of difference between machine thermal shifts when changing from a cold state to normal operating temperature by input cold coupling target.

 

AVV-701 calculates the corrected shim and horizontal movement values to compensate for this difference. The thermal growth coupling target values for the machines are supplied by the manufacturers.

Thermal Growth

Versatile PC compatible file system (FAT) - and Windows base “Conspect” software - allow more than 500 date save within device and upload to PC via USB communication for report print and PC alignment database management.
